Not necessarily. Failure of the First Course of a degree program may require an appeal to be eligible to retake the course (Academic Readiness Policy 3.04.01).

Failure of a single course will not automatically remove you from FlexPath. It is advised you immediately retake the course to improve to passing. You may utilize your previous work in the retake or even submit certain assessments that you performed well on for the same scores assuming the assessment requirements are the same.

Failure of a subsequent course prior to passing a retake of the first failed course will result in removal from the FlexPath model.
