There are some fairly significant differences between a Federal Resume and a traditional one. While both resumes highlight your strongest qualifications for the specific role you are pursuing, a Federal Resume has some additional expectations and features that you will need to include. Some of these are:
• Supervisor name and contact information
• Hours worked and compensation
• Full volunteer history
This is just a sample of the differences. Because these requirements do change, it is helpful to use the Resume Builder tool on USAJOBS to ensure you are providing everything that hiring managers are looking for.
