The purpose of a job interview is to allow an employer to assess your qualifications, ability to do the job, fit within the organization, and level of interest in the role.

To prepare, you will want to research the company, prepare for common interview questions, and plan for the logistics of travel and attire. Review the Interview Preparation section of the Career Center for tips to set yourself up for success. Next, practice your responses to interview questions using BigInterview, a tool which allows you to record yourself via webcam. This allows you to evaluate your own performance and make changes.
