First, consider ways you have demonstrated teaching experience outside of a college setting. If you have trained employees at work, taught courses in the community, or served as a guest presenter in a class, these experiences should be highlighted on your CV as a way of demonstrating your teaching ability. Include specific information about how you engaged students and developed the curriculum, in addition to the size and format of the class. This context will provide the employer additional information about how you can transfer your skills to the college classroom.

If you have no teaching experience at all, seek out opportunities to obtain it. Not only will this provide you with experience you can showcase on your CV, but it will provide you the opportunity to try out teaching to assess its fit for you. Seek out opportunities at work to train other employees or offer a lunch and learn session. Identify teaching possibilities in your community in faith based groups, nonprofits, or community education. Serve as a guest presenter for a topic of expertise and interest to you in a local college class.
