Sending a thank you note to everyone with whom you interviewed helps you to demonstrate your sincere interest in the position. Do your best to obtain contact information for each person you met so you can send a customized email that mentions something about your conversation. While this may seem time consuming, it will show employers you have professional follow through and are committed to obtaining the position. Because this is an extra step most people do not take, you will likely stand out in the hiring process!
