Organisations have their own policies around IRB review and approval. Therefore, you will need to contact the IRB at the site to determine if they require IRB review. If site IRB approval is necessary, you must provide a copy of the site’s IRB approval letter when you submit to Capella University's IRB. The site may require Capella's IRB to approve the study before they will review it.

Additionally, the site may require you obtain permission from Department Chairs, HR or other areas of the site even with IRB approval. Ensure that you fully understand what permissions are necessary and that all the necessary permissions are obtained from the site.

If site IRB review is not required, you will need to explain the site's IRB policy to Capella's IRB when you submit your study to Capella University's IRB.
