Respecting the research site is one of the important elements of conducting ethical research. If you’ve contacted a site once and haven’t received a response, one follow up to ensure receipt of the request is standard practice. However, if the site has said no or you’ve received no word from the site, then you need to respect the wishes of the site.

You should work with your mentor to identify new sites. See iGuide for site permissions requirements.
