Due to the vast array of data that is out there we are unable to provide specific instructions for how to access data. However, we recommend that researchers begin by looking at governmental data. Descriptions of the data and what is available is normally online. Often times the data may be available there as well. We also recommend that learners look at the literature done in the field to ascertain from where they retrieved similar data as this may give you a place to start.

Sometimes companies or agencies are able to provide de-identified data. Learners should contact agencies/organisations that they think may have data to begin discussions to see if it is feasible to access that data.
