Capella University does not recommend, endorse, or keep names of transcription companies or individual transcriptionists. To locate a transcriptionist, start by consulting classmates, either in the courseroom, on Capella's chat room, or on Capella's Facebook page. 

Regarding pricing, a great starting spot is the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). While the BLS website does not list "transcriptionist," it does provide salary ranges for medical transcriptionists and court reporters, from which hourly figures for transcriptionists can be extrapolated.
