Each company has its own requirements for tuition reimbursement. Please speak with your employer for more information concerning your eligibility for tuition reimbursement.

Many employers require an invoice or receipt as verification of your course registration. If your employer requires documentation of your final grade, you can either submit a copy of your unofficial transcript or request a course completion letter from Capella University. Your employer should advise you on the specific documentation required for reimbursement.

To request a course completion letter or course-specific invoice/receipt, complete the online Invoice Request Form. Once your request is submitted, please allow 3-5 business days for it to be completed and sent to you. If your invoice or receipt is being sent through the mail, please allow additional time for mailing.

Please keep in mind that payment needs to be made prior to the start date of your course(s). If your employer pays your tuition costs upon successfully passing your course(s), you may need to use personal funds to pay for your courses upfront and get reimbursed by your employer.
