Scholarships: You can apply for Capella-offered Scholarship. You can apply for a Capella Progress Reward Scholarship up until the day you begin your first course. If you do not qualify for any Capella scholarships, you can also find resources for researching outside scholarships here.

Tuition assistance: Some employers offer tuition assistance/reimbursement options for educational expenses. This is a great way for students to pay for school and reduce loan debt. Note: If you are using other forms of financial aid, any tuition assistance/reimbursement you receive must be reported to Capella’s Financial Aid Support Team.)

Federal financial aid: The government offers several financial aid options including loans. Gift aid options such as grants or federal study, which do not require repayment may also be available. Federal Work Study: The Federal Work-Study program (FWS) provides part-time employment to students with financial need. Federal Work Study funds do not disburse like other forms of federal aid. Non-federal loans: If you wish to utilize a non-federal or private student loan, we recommend contacting the Financial Aid Support Team first to confirm you do not have any additional federal aid options. To learn more about your non-federal loan options, review the Types of Financial Aid available.
