Yes. The financial aid year runs from July 1 - June 30. To qualify for federal financial aid, you must complete a new FAFSA for each aid year you take classes. Renewal FAFSA applications can be completed online using your Department of Education FSA ID as soon as the Department of Education makes them available(generally in October). 

Capella will typically start processing documents for GuidedPath students for the new aid year between the winter and spring quarters.
