As an online institution, we realize the importance of having a working computer. As such, we automatically build computer and technology costs into your overall cost of attendance (COA) budget.

Capella does not offer one-time adjustments for computer purchases. Instead, part of the refund you receive each quarter is intended to be used towards technology and computer upgrades. We recommend that you try to save part of your refund each quarter in case you have unanticipated expenses such as a computer replacement.

Per federal regulations, we can award you up to your estimated Cost of Attendance (COA). The COA is a budget of what it will cost you to attend Capella University in your specific program. If we have awarded you up to your COA budget, we cannot increase your award.
