Once your financial aid disburses, we will process any excess funds as a refund within 7 days. You can choose to have your refund sent to you via two possible methods:

By Direct Deposit
Allow 3-4 business days for receipt of refund via direct deposit. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Heartland ECSI. At that time, you may want to contact your bank to determine when the funds will be available to you. You can update your direct deposit information by going to our Direct Deposit page on Campus.

By U.S. Mail
If you do not have direct deposit, your financial aid refund will be mailed as a paper check to your home address on file with Heartland ECSI. Allow 7-10 business days for it to be received by mail.
