If you receive an e-mail to appeal your FASAP ineligibility, but are planning to take time away, you still only have 10 calendar days to submit the appeal. If you would like to take Capella courses in the future, we advise that you submit your FASAP appeal. You will not be allowed to appeal when you return if you fail to meet this deadline.

We encourage taking time off, especially if you need time to take care of personal issues. Your FASAP status will not be affected by time off. If you do decide to take a short break from school, it is always a good idea to contact your academic coach and let them know your plans.
