A FASAP plan is a personalized academic improvement strategy designed for students who are not currently meeting the minimum FASAP standards required by FASAP. Its purpose is to help students maintain their eligibility for financial aid while working to improve their academic performance.
If you are placed on a FASAP plan, Capella will assign a specific plan tailored to your situation. By following the requirements outlined in the plan, you can restore your academic standing before you complete your program.
If you become ineligible for financial aid due to your academic standing, you may have the option to appeal to regain your eligibility. If that appeal is approved, you will be placed on a FASAP plan. If your appeal is denied, you will not be eligible to use financial aid until meeting FASAP requirements, and will be subject t certain payment requirements.
