Interlibrary Loan is a way for current Capella University students, faculty, and staff to access materials that are not in the Capella University Library.
Steps to Make Request
Before making an Interlibrary Loan request, search for the article title in Summon to make sure we don't have access to it in our library. If you cannot find your article or book with a title search. the Capella Library probably does not have the full text.
Fill out an Interlibrary Loan request form and we will request the article or book from another library.
More Details
If available, articles are emailed to you within 1 to 3 business days. Borrowed books take 7 to 10 business days to arrive.
For more information, please review our Interlibrary Loan Guide.
More information about how many and what kinds of requests can be placed can be found in Capella University Library's Interlibrary Loan Policy.
