If you are getting too many results or are not getting enough results, there are several things you can do.

  1. Adjust your topic: Our guide Is my topic too narrow or too broad? has questions and suggestions to help you adjust your topic to find more or fewer results.

  2. Refine your search: The Refining Your Search page has suggestions you can use to change your search.  For example: limiting to a specific date range to get fewer results, using synonyms and OR to find more results, etc.
