Some journals are embargoed, which means the full text of the most recent articles are not available online.

  • The embargo is the length of time in which full text articles are not available online.

  • For example, if a journal is embargoed for one year, that means the full text of that journal will not be available online until one year after publication.

  • You can see if a journal is embargoed by searching the journal title using the Journals tab on the Library Home page

  • Instructions for using Journal and Book Locator can be located in our Journal and Book Locator Library Guide

  • The length of time of an embargo is set by the publisher and is typically 3 or 12 months.
