Students new to Capella will receive access to library databases 3 days prior to course start.  The access date coincides with courseroom access so you can begin reviewing your assignments and searching the databases simultaneously. 

Our license agreements indicate database access is only available to active students, so we are unable to provide access to the databases any earlier than 3 days prior. 

Library Website Access: 

Even though access to the library databases occurs 3 days prior to course start, you will have access to the Library web site once you have been granted Campus access. This early access enables you to become acquainted with our web site and browse our Library Guides and tutorials in preparation for the start of class.
