Ebook Central has an accessibility mode feature for those using screen readers.

You do need an Ebook Central account in order to turn on this feature. You can find instructions for creating an account on the Creating an Account section of our Ebook Central Database Guide. 

To turn on accessibility mode:

1. Sign into your Ebook Central Bookshelf account.

2. Go to the book you wish to read. 

3. Click Read Online. 

4. You will hear a note for screen readers. When you hear this note, hit the b key on your keyboard. It will then ask you if you want to enable accessibility mode. Hit Enter on your keyboard. Accessibility mode will be turned on.
