Summon is a search engine, not a full text database. Please follow steps below to find full text articles.

• Summon contains article, book, dissertation, and related citation records. When a search is run, Summon checks those citation records against the full text content available in our collection and displays all matches in the results list. 

• Sometimes you may be directed to a link resolver page instead of going directly to the article.

• If you see this screen, look for Full Text Availability and then find the dates coinciding with the article publication information.

• If the button doesn't work, try to navigate to the year, volume, and issue in the Journal itself.

• If there is no Available Online text the article may not be available in our library. Summon is a very powerful tool, but it is not perfect - you may run across articles that appear to be available, but it turns out they are not. Keep this in mind when you're reviewing your search results.
