Yellow Ribbon funding is designed to be utilized if you have met your Post 9/11 GI Bill annual tuition cap. It enables the VA and Capella University to cover any approved tuition and fee costs that exceed this annual cap.

Yellow Ribbon funding is not additional funding to be utilized once your Post-9/11 GI Bill entitlement is exhausted. If you exhaust your Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits, you will not be eligible for Yellow Ribbon funding.
