No. For most learners, reading the abstract and the chapter with the study’s findings (usually, chapter 5 or 6) is usually adequate.

At the doctoral level, you might be interested in looking at the information from other chapters: chapter 1 is an introduction to the study; chapter 2 is a literature review, which you might mine for relevant sources; chapter 3 is about methodology; chapter 4 is a report of the data; and chapter 5 contains the findings of the study. Chapter 6 (if there is one) contains recommendations for future research. (At Capella, chapters 5 and 6 are combined into a single fifth chapter.)
