FlexPath Model A

Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (FASAP) is calculated after the end of each payment period. You can view your payment period information via the Progress Tracker on your Finances Dashboard.

Payment periods end once you have achieved the minimum progression requirement by reaching 24 weeks of attendance and 4.5 program points as a graduate learner or 9 program points as an undergraduate learner.

Additionally, FASAP may be reviewed at varying periods if you have transferred from another university within the same aid year.

FlexPath Model B

FASAP is evaluated in accordance with the Academic Standing policy. If you meet the academic standing requirements, you also meet FASAP requirements.

If you do not meet the academic standing policy, you will be granted a probationary billing session. If you still do not meet the academic standing policy at the end of the probationary billing session, the university will initiate administrative withdrawal from the university. You will be given the opportunity to appeal this action, An appeal must contain an explanation of the extenuating circumstances surrounding dismissal and the impact the circumstances had on academic progress, as well as a success plan detailing how you will be successful moving forward.

The president’s designee will review the appeals and notify learners of their decision. If an appeal is approved, an additional probationary session will be granted. If an appeal is denied or you fail the probationary period, the administrative withdrawal from the university will proceed.
